Snoop Dogg will be one of the final torchbearers for the Olympic flame, leading up to the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics on Friday. The renowned American rapper, Snoop Dogg, will carry the torch through the streets of Saint-Denis, a northern district of Paris that hosts the Stade de France Olympic Stadium. This segment marks the penultimate leg of the torch’s journey before it reaches its final destination at the Eiffel Tower.

At 52 years old, Snoop Dogg will be a prominent figure in the torch relay, adding his star power to the event. Since commencing its journey in May, the Olympic torch has traversed France, carried by a diverse array of personalities. Notable figures include former Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger, Formula One driver Charles Leclerc, and actress Halle Berry.

Born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. in Los Angeles, Snoop Dogg’s home city will host the 2028 Olympic Games. He will be accompanied in Saint-Denis by fellow torchbearers, including French actress Laetitia Casta and French rapper MC Solaar.
