Moussa Diaby has officially transferred from Aston Villa to Saudi Pro League club Al Ittihad for a record fee of approximately $65 million. Diaby, the 25-year-old French winger, joined Villa Park last summer for a club-record fee. During his tenure, Moussa Diaby scored 10 goals in 54 appearances across all competitions, playing a crucial role in helping Unai Emery’s team secure a spot in the Champions League.

Before his time at Aston Villa, Diaby spent four years at Bayer Leverkusen in Germany. He previously worked with Emery at Paris Saint-Germain, showcasing a strong professional relationship.

Diaby’s move to Al Ittihad will see him join compatriots Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kanté, along with former Liverpool midfielder Fabinho. Under the guidance of head coach Laurent Blanc, Al Ittihad aims to improve on their fifth-place finish from last season.
