Mallorca vs Real Madrid ended in a 1-1 draw as the La Liga champions were held to a stalemate in their first match of the 2024/25 season. Real Madrid took the lead with a brilliant goal by Rodrygo, but Mallorca’s resilience paid off when Vedat Muriqi headed in the equalizer, leaving the visitors frustrated.

In the opening stages of Mallorca vs Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti fielded a star-studded lineup featuring Rodrygo, Kylian Mbappe, and Vinicius Junior. Despite this, it was Mallorca who threatened first, with Samu Costa forcing Thibaut Courtois into an early save. Real Madrid’s attacking trio soon combined to break the deadlock, with Vinicius assisting Rodrygo for a beautifully placed shot into the far corner.

Mallorca vs Real Madrid continued with both teams showing their intent, but Madrid’s defense faltered after halftime. A simple yet effective corner by Daniel Rodriguez allowed Muriqi to outjump Antonio Rudiger and head the ball past Courtois, leveling the score for Mallorca.

As match progressed, Real Madrid pushed for a winner with Mbappe and Rodrygo creating several chances. However, Mallorca’s defense held firm, and despite a late surge from Los Blancos, the match ended in a draw.
