Kylian Mbappe is “confident” Paris Saint-Germain can stage a comeback against Borussia Dortmund in their UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg.
Dortmund carved out a 1-0 win against PSG in the first leg last week, with Niclas Fullkrug scoring the match’s solitary goal.

Speaking at an event in Paris, Mbappe sounded confident his team would be able to book a place in the UEFA Champions League final at Wembley on June 1.
“There’s a lot of pressure, which is normal because there’s a place in the Champions League final at stake, which is very important,” he said, according to France 24. “Especially when you consider the club’s record in the competition.

“We’re aware of the pressure, but the group is extremely calm. We’re confident that we’ll come back from that score and reach the final.”
He added: “I’m sure I’ll arrive at the match in a good mood, ready to defend my team’s colours and help us qualify for the final.”

Mbappe will be particularly desperate to reach the UEFA Champions League final and help PSG win the most prestigious European title for the first time ever.

The 25-year-old is expected to leave the club at the end of the season and join Real Madrid, as per multiple reports, but will want to help his hometown team achieve European glory before he leaves.

Waiting in the final will be either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich, with the two teams set to play their semi-final second leg on Wednesday. The first leg ended 2-2.
