Chelsea is currently in active discussions with Napoli regarding the potential transfer of striker Romelu Lukaku, according to recent reports.
The 31-year-old Belgian forward has not played for Chelsea since 2022, following his return to Stamford Bridge in a $125 million move.
Since then, Lukaku has had loan spells at Inter Milan and Roma, but Napoli is now aiming to secure his services on a permanent basis.
A move to Napoli would see Lukaku reunited with former Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte, under whom he scored 64 goals over two seasons and won the Serie A title.
The Athletic reports that the negotiations between Chelsea and Napoli may also include the possibility of Victor Osimhen moving to Chelsea on a loan deal with an option to buy.
