I played with Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe but Cristiano Ronaldo is the best for one key reason

Pablo Sarabia

It’s amazing to play with Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, but Cristiano Ronaldo is better than them all.

That’s according to Wolves star Pablo Sarabia, who has been lucky enough to play alongside all four football icons during his career. Sarabia arrived at Molineux this summer, marking the start of his time in the Premier League.

But the winger isn’t short of experience in the game, and he’s trained and played with some of the best in the business. Spells at Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid saw the Spaniard play with eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi, Neymar and World Cup winner Mbappe at PSG, as well as five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo with Los Blancos.

“It’s amazing because it’s a dream to play with these players,” he said

“I learned a lot because when you’re training with these teammates, these players, it’s incredible. The goals, the assists, it’s very important to try to learn in this moment and in training every day.

“They’re amazing players. Outside the pitch these are very good people and because of this it’s a reference for me and I want to translate [that] to my son also.”

But out of all four of Messi, Mbappe, Neymar and Ronaldo, who is the best in the mind of a man who has played with them all?

“It’s a very difficult question,” he said. “It’s Cristiano because his mindset is totally incredible. It’s very hard.

“Neymar, his ability to be different than the other players, it’s possible to do everything, I’ve never seen anything like it. He has a lot of quality with the ball, it’s incredible.

“With Messi, everyone knows his capacity, the ability to score, to find the solution.”

Wolves currently sit 13th in the Premier League, with Sarabia making ten league appearances for his new club whilst also netting a stunner in the late 2-1 win against Tottenham in that time too.

Gary O’Neil’s side next face Chelsea on Christmas Eve, with the teams currently just two points apart in the table. Wolves fans will certainly be hoping their winger can bring some Ronaldo-esque play to his game.
